What is the weather like in Sri Lanka?Sri Lanka is a small Island. Average weather range between 15ºC in the hills to 30ºC in the coastal area. Coastal area weather range between 25ºC to 30ºC. As you travel into the hills this can range between 14ºC to 22ºC. There has been rare occasion temperature dropping to single figures. North and North-east records the highest temperatures in the island.

Best time to travel to Sri Lanka?Sri Lanka is a tropical island. So, temperatures throughout the year stays in high 20C. You can travel in Sri Lanka throughout the year. But it is best to travel during June - August and December - March if you looking for warm sunny beaches. Rest of the months cover monsoon rainy season.

What languages are spoken in Sri Lanka?Sinhala, Tamil and English are spoken widely in the Island. Majority speaks Sinhalese (Sinhala), North and North East parts of Sri Lanka speaks more Tamil. But you will find everyone speaks at least a little English. Most of the information boards and forms have everything in all three languages.
