Knuckles Conservation Forest

The knuckles mountain range is situated in Kandy and Matale districts. Knuckles Conservation is a trekker's paradise. Several paths take you through the forest. It is home to a number of plants and fauna endemic to the region. The area is filled with grasslands, cloud forests, and a small waterfall.

Knuckles mountain range is also a World Heritage site with significant environmental importance. Mountain range received its name because it looks like folded fits knuckles.

From January to March it can be much colder.
